How to specify motor lead-wire insulation.

Connect thermal class, working voltage, winding chemistry and vibration to a sleeve request.

The sleeve works inside a larger insulation system.

Document winding temperature, continuous and transient voltage, lead geometry, bend radius, varnish or resin contact, vibration, cut length and installation method. Then validate the exact sleeve as part of the finished motor process.

Specification checklist

  • Operating and peak temperature
  • Working voltage and dielectric requirement
  • Inner diameter, tolerance and wall construction
  • Movement, abrasion and chemical exposure
  • Required standards, color, length and quantity
Final values, certification scope, MOQ and lead time must be confirmed against the selected FRT product code.
