Protecting EV high-voltage cable assemblies.

Map heat zones, abrasion points, connector transitions and orange identification before selecting protection.

A single harness can contain several different protection zones.

Start by mapping continuous and peak temperature, bend and vibration, rubbing points, fluid exposure, connector transitions and high-voltage identification. Sleeving, heat-shrink tubing and expandable braid address different zones; program-specific qualification must be confirmed.

Specification checklist

  • Operating and peak temperature
  • Working voltage and dielectric requirement
  • Inner diameter, tolerance and wall construction
  • Movement, abrasion and chemical exposure
  • Required standards, color, length and quantity
Final values, certification scope, MOQ and lead time must be confirmed against the selected FRT product code.
